De Jong Combustion has been awarded
De Jong Combustion b.v. (DJC) has been awarded an order to upgrade two boiler installations to low NOx technology at a Center European chemical plant.
Both 10 t/hr steam boilers have been in operation since 1986 using DJC old model burners to the satisfaction of the customer, however they were no longer meeting the emission permit. De Jong Combustion offered a direct replacement with its CBPM burners which can meet the requirements without the need for Flue Gas Recirculation. Actually, the burners are designed to achieve an emission level even well below the required limit. Further, they will be capable of firing both fuel gas and fuel oil.
The boiler retrofit will be provided to the customer as turn-key solution partnering with a boiler site works contractor under DJC’s direction to offer an unburdened retrofit. The first boiler will be retrofitted this fall and the second boiler early next year.
De Jong Combustion b.v. and R&V Engineering b.v. (R&V) are presently involved in several NOx reduction projects and are very pleased to have won the customers confidence for this project. As combustion experts for over 90 years DJC and R&V are capable of providing Clients advise and solutions for fired equipment to meet all future emission standards or update to new operational requirements for fuels, reliability and turn-down.
